HOWDY FREEPERS;

You know folks, Shawn Hannity is right. Journalism as we once knew it is dead.

I don't think it could have been anymore evident than the disgusting treatment that Sarah Palin and her family have been getting at the hands of the establishment media.

When you contrast all that to the gussing favorable treatment that Michelle Obama has been receiving, it's understandable why more and more people are throwing bricks at their TV sets and hanging picutres of TV news anchors on dart boards and throwing darts at those pictures and so on.

I think it's quite obvious why all this is going on.The establishment media (ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, AP, etc.) have all their resources invested in seeing Barack Obama's America become a reality. They want America to be like Zimbabwe and be a one party nation run by Democrats.

These sorry, lazy miserable good for nothing goofballs sitting behind their newsdesks in front of the cameras have grown very resentful of people like you and I having representation in Washington. They don't like the fact that you and I are living in freedom and being able to question the actions of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and their cabel without retribution.

And, quite frankly if these clowns and goonies had their way, America would be like Zimbabwe and people like you and I would face reprecussions for simply daring to blow the whistle on this bunch.

A couple of years ago when a piece of mail with white powder was sent to news outlets like the National Enquier and MSNBC directed at Keith Olberrmann, there were calls by him to have the FBI sent to the homes of all the FR posters simply becuase we've been daring to blow the whistle on him and his disgraceful activities. During that time we had a troll here at FR take up for this goofball who thankfully was kicked off the site who echoed this call.

Instead of calling for the FBI to visit the homes of those blowing the whistle on the establishment media, Olberbmann should take a moment to develop some understanding as to how people feel about the way the MSM is choosing to do their job. People are getting very sick and tired of the bias being show in favor of the Dems and against Republicans, christians and conservatives. This issue is not going to go away and people like myself have absolutely no intention of toning down our message on this subject for Olbermann or anybody else just becuase they gripe, moan and howl about it.

Whether anybody likes it being said or not the reality is the MSM is pro-Obama and Anti-McCain, plain and simple. It's the establishment media, not those blowing the whistle on them who need an attitude adjustment.

Before I joined FR in 2000 I was talking about a report that was released in and Ohio newspaper which showed the vast majority of people felt the mainstream media was out of touch with average ordinary citizens.

Some sorry lazy miserable good for nothing called me elitist for daring to agree with this report and saying that I was jealous of the MSM and that the MSM was better than me and as pure as the wind driven snow and can do no wrong.

These are the kinds of idiots and goofballs we're up against in out battle to keep America out of the hands of Obama and his cabel.

The Democrat party and the MSM are both criminal enterprises and both need to be put out of business. Simple as that.

Regards..

Good post!

First came the anti-establishment, then the media bias, not it’s anti-candidate. Next step? Anti-American? Seems so.

And don’t forget that someone, a senator I believe, overheard Hillary and Barbara Boxer complaining about the internet as an information source. And one of them was supposed to have said, “We need to fix that.”

Of course, when they were called on this, both of them denied saying it.

The conservatives’ right to freedom of expression is being held hostage by the ghost of Saul Alinsky. But wait. His son David was at the Democratic National Convention this year.

I agreed with the premise when Hannity spoke it but then came Megyn Kelly and her public evisceration of Bradley Jacobs, the senior editor for US Weekly. Perhaps she is the exception that proves the rule but I think she shows it's only mostly dead. Cue Miracle Max.

I’m interested in how news reporting is going to evolve. Its clear to me that printed news is dying. Television news has become too opinionated to be trusted as a source.

Will reporting be replaced by “citizen” reporters on the internet, working through some sort of Wiki? I’ve seen some high quality citizen reporting right here on the FR (Kristinn comes to mind).

I think before this leviathan succumbs, there will be one more stage. Papers will continue to merge for a while and then all the articles will shared.
