I have found a local grower that is producing the best 'silver king' corn I have ever had in my life. At your mention, I'm going to put some by for this winter ... otherwise, I'll be kicking myself for failing to do so.

In Maine in the spring, we use a bucket in the estuary streams to catch them they are so abundant.

Oh yeah. My dad would get home with plastic garbage cans full of them and we'd be up till 4 or 5 AM cleaning them.
