I’m a big Brian Wilson fan, and his new CD (released today!) is all about how California was in the early ‘60s when the Beach Boys started — sun-drenched and optimistic. I think McCain and Palin can fire that optimism anew and — crowd-pleasing populist (or panderer) that he is — you know Arnold will be in their corner now that Palin has hit a grand slam. I think my bet is safe.
