It was just punishing in its delivery. Jabs, left hooks, uppercuts and not a low blow to be found. This was Foreman vs Frazier and we all know who big George was on this evening.

My wife had the same sense. She has gone from not voting to voting for her (and McCain) -- plus, she appreciates that McCain had the good judgment to select her (maybe he will select a couple conservative judges, etc.)
She seems to be getting good, positive feedback on CNN.

Thank god for the Alaska delegates acknowledging Ron Paul’s nomination. The guy on stage was being disturbingly and studiously ignorant of the calls of “Ron Paul” when he enquired as to “any others”.
I look forward to McCain / Palin being nominated and elected, but I am appalled at the way that Ron Paul has been cast into the shadows and denied a pass to the convention.
