From what I heard, Dr. Laura is basing her criticism of Palin not for the pregnant daughter, but because as a mother, Palin won’t be able to give enough time to her family. Possibly true, but as my wife says, we’re not voting for mother of the year, we’re voting for a president and vice president.

BUT Dr. Laura says all the time as long as one parent is home its fine with her. So this seems inconsistent.

Here is how I see prominent women not embracing Palin.

If you put Pelosi, Dowdd, Patricia Ireland, Dr.Laura, Babs Streisand, et al....... into a forum where cameras are turned on, guess who gets all the attention?

Any additional explanation needed?

Just remember, John Edwards won "Father of the Year 2007" and that Hulk Hogan (who is said to have had an affair with his daughter's best friend) was also on the bench:

The threshold for such formal titles isn't as high as you might think.
