I disagree because there are families in which adoption would be unheard of, and it isn’t because they are pro-choice. There are strong families that believe the grandparents and parents can successfully raise a healthy, happy child.
This isn’t a selfish viewpoint. They believe in keeping the child because God has blessed the family with this child. The grandparents don’t just help the mother with the baby. They help the new family, mother, father and baby.
The child is not seen as a burden and the parents of the baby rejoice in its birth and thrive as parents.
That’s fine. I was only telling you what Dr. Laura would say. You had said she would suggest the teens get married. From listening to her show from time to time, she suggests adoption when a teen is unmarried and pregnant. I wasn’t debating you about adoption vs. keeping :)
