Um it’s a training simulator, not a gun, and she is in the process of shooting with it. There’s a video of it.

Know about her experience, I would trust her to have the finger off the trigger in that photo. She probably just finished the shot and is coming off the trigger when the photo was taken.
I used an Army simulator when they first appeared on the scene. The rifle I was using had a damaged front sight. Some years later, I went to another event and it seems they had the exact same simulator set up. The rifle still had that same damaged front sight.

FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT, PLEASE It's a simulator dude. She may have just finished "shooting" and ran it dry, or she may be snap shooting. Hard to tell.
