Apparently I’m the only one impressed by the fact that this season is in HD. The promos last week, BTW, looked awesome. I think for the first time we will really see how much living in the wild affects people physically.

On another note, one of the promos shows all these doofi grooving to the “zen master.” I’m thinking, “If I was there would I go along with it to win points, or keep my dignity?”

Nope I am happy for HD on Survivor.

One of the reason's I like the show is because of the locations. HD makes it all the more interesting.

BTW Kota's (Yellow Tribe) move to send Dan to Exile was a questionable move but then it seemed that right before council it might pay off by getting him voted off.

Sending one of the weaker tribe members from THONG (hehe) wasn't going to really work because it seems the first few to go never get enough clues to find the idol.

Not sure if the clues will be cumulative this time (cumulative: once a clue is revealed it stays revealed for the next person to go to exile.) If this is the case it would seem a better strategy to pick a weaker member to go to exile so as to allow them to get the Idol, which forces the team to vote off a stronger member if the weaker gets the idol.

The HD signal is impressive. It is broadcast in 1080i which seems better than 720P that Fox likes to use. It looks very good on my 1080P tv. As a backup, I also record the standard feed on the other tivo. Some very stunning views.
