FWIW - while everyone was looking for a Reagan, the next Maggy Thatcher was hiding in the wings. (Yeah, it’s a stretch, but...)
Anyway, anything is better than the “Sisterhood of the traveling Mao suits”

A stretch at the moment, maybe but I don’t really think so in the long run.
This lady means business.
I never thought I could support a woman running for POTUS, but VP doesn’t bother me so much. I know it is just a heartbeat (or the lack thereof) away, but I think that until now I just didn’t have a woman I WOULD support, much less COULD.

There are 30 million Reagans in America. At least. But the elitist, prep school, east coast, financialist abortion-lite run the party. Good for McCain that he busts balls. Great that he picked someone that hadn't been golf-buddyied, do-some-real-estate dealed, you-could-give-a-coporate-speach corrupted yet. I bet the K-street firms, Trent Lott, et al are already working over time to...'Help' little Miss Palin. You know, introduce her, show her the ropes and how things are done. Wink wink, nod nod, know what I mean Vice President Palin. College is expensive, your future, your husband will need a job....
