Superb; I’m so glad you found this Steyn snippet and posted it! And, as usual, Steyn NAILS it in his incredible style and wit! Thanks!
I was so excited about this pick, I donated money last night! (I wonder, does anybody know how much they’ve raised since the announcement? It was $3m in six hours, but it sounds like it’s been pouring in since that time, too.)

He already has dissed her for her “inexperience”, which is a TOTAL laugh riot. Me, I’m actually giddy with this choice. This is truly a game-changer to have Palin as the face of Republican women versus the stereotype the Dems have always forced on us.
Does anybody truly think that if she didn’t have an “R” behine her name, the old media wouldn’t be having orgasms about her? (I may have put too many negatives in there, but hopefully you get the point, LOL!)

No, but she has had to deal with Russian ships in “her” waters.
Nothing big, just fishing ships, but still better than Barry.

Palin may not have foreign diplomatic experience but her people-reading assets seem to be fine-tuned and she is not afraid to speak up and get to the core of an issue.
This is not expected so much in women - especially ones new to office and she may surprise a lot of people with her quick study abilities.
No fool this woman. She is plucking a wealth of living out of her time on earth. More power to her! More good fortune for us.

She is plucking a wealth of living out of her time on earth.Sarah Palin is such a strong and beautiful free-range 'politician' (in the good sense of the word) compared to Biden/Obama, both of whom are warehouse-raised, stuffed with horomones and dyes....
Her thoughts... her personna are crisp and clean and original, compared to the canned responses and platitudes of Biden/Obama.
I don't mind admitting how wrong I was in not pushing for Palin as McCain's VP.... mainly because I never even knew much about her and didn't take the time to check.
After reading the latest article in Alaska Magazine, I am thinking of moving to Alaska!!!

The Pubbies' tenderfoot has more brass, integrity, independence, and experience than the Dem's tenderfoot. One is a puppet on the hand of special interests, the other is herself and leads
in spite of her party's entrenched special interests.
She is much more interesting than McCain and is a good #2.
To: lysie
She's real and doesn't need to pretend to be something she's not. Did you catch Alaska Magazine's article about Sarah?

Governor Palin has run a state and a town and a commercial fishing operation, whereas ....Senator Obama ain't run nothin' but his mouth.
That's a great line. What I find amazing are all the comparisons between Gov. Palin and Pres. Nom. Obama. Most pundits seem to be skipping right over Biden.

I am amazed as well as the association of Palin/obama.
They are running scared she'll make mincemeat out of both of them.

Whenever Senator Obama attempts anything non-political (such as bowling), he comes over like a visiting dignitary to a foreign country getting shanghaied into some impenetrable local folk ritual. Now...just who else do we know, who was like that?
"..Kin I buy me a huntin' license here?..."
I suspect that the election will end up the same.

I agree, but it ain’t mine. The article credits the Rev-er-end Jack-son for the original line - probably about some conservative. In any case, it rings true.
To: WorkingClassFilth
The original line is none other than Marion Barry’s. There was talk in the early 90s of Jesse running for mayor of DC. Barry’s comment was “Jesse don’t wanna run nothing but his mouth.” Priceless.
