I saw that on the news Nully but have been very busy these last few days and have not been able to answer but the Phoenicians had quite an impact on different parts of Spain. In Galicia we have the bagpipes as do the Irish and Scots all visited by the Phoenicians.
My theory is that it was the Phoenician sailors who constructed a crude bagpipe as a mechanical fog horn and it was just a shot step from there to make it a musical instrument.
Yeah. That would scare me away from the rocks...
