I was genuinely shocked at the number of posters that ridiculed Palin in condescending ways, “Sit down, sweetheart, here’s a piece of candy,” kind of stuff.
Were I an honest feminist DUer I would have been terribly disappointed. Some apparently honest feminists were posting objections. I hope they see the light, I truly do.
Were the DU rank and file honest they would criticize Palin’s stands, record, plans, what have you. Not insult her femininity or call her the vulgar names they have been indulging.

I suspect the democratic party as we've known it is permanently crippled. Thats at least one good result of this miserable election cycle.

I'm afraid Palin has no idea how nasty this is going to get. She can't. I think it has to be experienced to be believed as even possible.
