IRVING, Texas (AP)—Now that Adam “Pacman” Jones is really back in the NFL, he insists he will try to do everything he can to stay there.

The cornerback-kick returner was fully reinstated Thursday from his 17-month NFL suspension, which followed an accumulation of arrests and legal problems, and is clear to play for the Dallas Cowboys during the regular season.

“I am fully a Dallas Cowboy,” Jones proclaimed before the last preseason game. “I don’t have it lingering over my head, will he get reinstated, will he not get reinstated. I just have to keep myself out of bad situations like I have been doing the last six or seven months.”

Will someone give Jerry Jones a championship trophy before he burns the entire country to the ground. This team makes the Raiders look like a girl scout troop.

I am a Redskins fan, so maybe he and TO will get into some late-night hijinks in a Larry Allen/Michael Irvin scenario...booze, coke, weed, hotel rooms, hookers...

We can only hope in the Redskins Nation.

I don’t get why an above average kick returner gets so much attention. He is a liability on defense. He may intercept of few passes but he will get burned 19 out of 20 times trying. He also has no ability or interest in tackling anyone. I live in Nashville and this is an honest assessment of this guys football skills. He truly is way over hyped.

I guess it would take a first degree murder for the NFL to police its players...

The double standard of “athletes” vs. “civilians” or CEO’s, lawmakers or billionaires, for that matter continues to astonish me.

Like a radio personality said recently, if you were to skip a $700 tax bill, the IRS would hunt you down in the Congo and spend thousands...

If you rob the taxpayers, the legislature gives you trillions to play with...
