BATON ROUGE Today, Governor Bobby Jindal issued an executive order that will allow for streamlining funds in recovery efforts for damage resulting from Hurricane Gustav.
In doing so, Governor Jindal appears to recognize that it is important for government agencies to provide necessary aassistance quickly but to do so that is fiscally sound, ethical and above reproach. Here is here the Executive Order for Emegency Procedures for Conducting State business which has been provided to the media by Governor Jindal's press office:

Are you getting storms, Rod?
Prayers for all those in harm's way.
143kt flight level winds, pressure dropping still. Might make cat 5 for 5p?
Mostly a lot of rain, winds up to 32 knots, some thunder now, but nothing to really worry about.
I am afraid the Gulf oil rigs and refineries and the Northern Gulf Coast from Miss. to Texas is up for a pretty big hit however.
There is an interesting link here that states that the worst hit for the oil wells and refineries is about a 30 mile swath that is near unpredictable until near the end.
I wonder where Jindal was on McCain’s list, bet it was pretty high.(We got the best one however)
