I programmed my Directv DVR from work to catch “The Greatest Story Ever Told” & “Ben Hur”.

What did people do before the internet. (Actually, I remember spending the first seven years of my life without TV.)

Love Ben Hur and Soylent Green - two of my very favorites. Own both on dvd !

Ben Hur:
See if you can spot the horse being ridden without a bridle in a scene early in the movie (Roman soldiers riding through Nazareth).

One of my favorite movie lines,now my workplace motto:

“We keep you alive to serve this ship. Row well and live...”

Another favorite line:

“...you will find them...*gasp* in the Valley of the Lepers...” *gasp*

It's been two days.

Yesterday they had a fantastic film with Heston and Orson Wells. Touch of Evil. One of the best films ever made IMO.
