I prefer to call it; applying the board of education to their seat of knowledge.
First thing that popped into my mind when reading the article was rolling up a newspaper or magazine and applying it as necessary to modify behavior! ;-) Not PC in this ‘don’t correct your children or we’ll claim it’s child abuse’ world we live in, but like the Bible says, spare the rod...! ;-)
