I don’t care enough to go to that much trouble if you can’t provide a url. All I can say is I suspect that stat refers to the number who are breastfed EVER AT ALL (ie, even a few days in the hospital) and that it’s self reporting. While I think breastfeeding even for a few days is better than nothing, it doesn’t make us much of a breastfeeding population.
However, I would LOVE to see most Moms do it. It has much to recommend it.
I also have been surprised at how few mothers to be I know who even consider having a childbirth without drugs. But, times change.
