Georgian born Khatuna Lorig will carry the US flag.
U.S. team picks Georgian to lead them in closing ceremony
This is a great one ...
That's one flag Bill Ayers won't step on!
Sometimes I am nice. ;-)
It was a toss up between that picture and this one...and this one has a song...
Ohhh...Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary!
No, the wall shower at diving meets is open & they go there immediately following their performances. The black bar is from someone’s tivo when they paused the screen...covering up their swimsuits and making them look nekkid. :-)
Anyone know how long its scheduled for? Til 8? Til 9?
There were some great ones to choose from!
When major Olympic events are telecast more than 12 hours after they occurred (which happened in dozens of instances), that’s bad coverage.
I’m so with You on the fact that the commentators over-explain everthing!
Sheesh!
& btw
Tim Dagget’s voice makes me wanna hurl.
Well, when there’s at least a 12 hour time difference, that’s bound to happen.
Should be about 8:30 eastern time.
LOL
And always awesome! :)
Compared to previous years of NBC Olympic coverage, this year was greatly improved.
Not sure but I do know who wins Gold ;)
Great tag line, btw.
Do I know you? ;)
Awww...now I’m blushing. hehehehe
NBC had the chance to show the events in question at any hour of the day or night on either MSNBC or CNBC, but waited (sometimes as long as 24 hours) to show them in prime time. ...when most sports fans already knew the results.
The men’s 100m (one of the premier events of the Olympics), for instance, took place at 7:00am (PST) last week. Both MSNBC and CNBC had coverage of very minor (prelimary) events at that time. But NBC waited 15 hours later to show it in prime time. Should’ve showed it both in the morning (when it happened) AND in prime time.

I got extra-butter movie theater popcorn! I spared no expense :)
Guess they don't have that whole "Don't remove your head in front of the guests" rule that they have Disneyland.
