How about Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison for VP?

I don't feel comfortable with Romney or Pawlenty. Why not a strong female choice to take on Biden?

Kay Bailey Hutchison has an ACU rating of 88 for 2007 and a 90.27 lifetime. Higher than McCain.

I was asking about Condoleezza Rice’s positions on issues since jokyfo suggested her. I already had a link to that site but thanks for posting it anyway since some people might not know about it.

I was asking jokyfo about Condoleezza Rice’s positions on those issues since he suggested her. I don’t need help figuring out what KBH stands for.

I like her. Especially her strong support of the Second Amendment.

sorry, my bad.

But thanks for giving me the excuse to vent about KBH, anyway. :-)

Tooooo many she’s. I thought you were talking about KBH.

It’s the standard pro-noun problem.

Well, she is a MeCain Republican and has done everything she could to slow-roll our border fence with like-minded Gov. Rick Perry.

that makes two women in history that I could say I admire that were leaders....both English...wonder what’s the chance of that

but there have been powerful women who didn’t rule per se but were very influential

Catherine De Medici always comes to mind.

More often than not women leaders end up like Pelosi and Feinstein and Hillary...emotional hand wringers...or murderous maniacs like Mao’s wife...lol....just kidding.

But it’s more complicated than that....had Hillary been very conservative I would have loved her. She has extreme mettle.

I’ve been around women for 50 years....not many I’ve seen have the leadership qualities on a large scale men more often do. Just look how ya’ll do lunch tabs.

What are you talking about lunch tabs???

Please elaborate.

I know I figure that out the same as my husband. However, we are both engineers.

Women engineers are very different than women in other fields. We think with the other side of our brain.

However, I’ve known men who think using their emotions over their logic also. I just think there are more women who do that than men.

I did do that, but I still thought the she was KBH.

Like I said, “too many pro-nouns”.

lunch tabs?

women always split em

men....real men anyhow....pick ‘em up

it was a joke

from my 50 years, women are much more emotional, indecisive and self obsessed than men.

they are typically better care givers, often better listeners and more often than not more maternal...although the latter is not what it used to be

plain and simple....yep, there are exceptions but folks who make their rules on exceptions better be tuff

women don’t have to be great leaders or validated for me to love them

women engineers are pretty smart I’d reckon...smarter than me

When I worked, none of the men ever picked up the tab (unless they were taking me on a date). Lots of the times, I was the only woman. Sometimes there were a few other women.

It was always split. The only thing is that the men always got alcohol at lunch, and then would want to split the bill.

I don’t drink, so I would just put in my money for my food.

Nowadays, it depends on who invited who. If I call a friend to go have lunch, I’ll usually pay. Same thing for them. It seems like we only go out on birthdays, so it’s more of one of us taking the other out for a birthday.
