My oldest son is the computer geek in the family. He's an Apple computer expert, so anytime I have a question, I either call him or write him. He's also a computer graphics artist, and web designer, and does networking. He taught himself everything. There were no such thing as computer courses when he went to college. He sure didn't get his brains from me. I see you are a female as I am. I didn't do well in math in school either :-)

I can program my cell phone, but have to take out the instructions for my nuker to reset the time whenever the power goes out. A year or so ago I bought a VHS/DVD recorder and have yet to figure out how to set it to record programs to burn to disc. I basically wanted it to play all my old VHS tapes and probably will never use it to record anything.

My sons and Hubby build their own computers. I never have any idea what they're talking about. We had a problem with DSL one day so Hubby called and got a twit on the phone. She kept giving him wrong info so she became exasperated and told him to call his PC manufacturer. He said "Lady! I AM the manufacturer!" LOL

I don't try recording anything. I whine to my kids. I tried programming my cell and lost numbers so I leave it alone. I was looking at the book at the time. Good thing that I married Hubby. He's an elevator tech so he keeps up with stuff since most elevators are computer run now.
