There are alot of things in the world to be upset about. Yeah, like the PX has been out of regular Cheez-Its for WEEKS. Oh, they have all the weird kinds like the parmesan cheese ones and the reduced fat ones, but none of the regular ones.
This totally SUCKS.

Are you going to be hanging out at DU during the GOP convention? Oh HELL yeah. Wouldn't miss it.
Count me in with Mojito's position. People who have never even heard of Free Republic are about to, and it's a great welcome for any undecideds.
AdminMod: just in case you're keeping count.

Once you forward the YouTube link to ten people, it probably vanishes from your screen. :)Nah, they each have to forward it to ten people too.

WELL, I WAS DRUNK THE DAY MY MOM GOT OUT OF PRISON
AND I WENT TO PICK HER UP IN THE RAIN
BUT BEFORE I COULD GET TO THE STATION IN MY PICKUP TRUCK
SHE GOT RUNNED OVER BY A DANGED OLD TRAIN
CHORUS:
AND ILL HANG AROUND AS LONG AS YOU WILL LET ME
AND I NEVER MINDED STANDING IN THE RAIN
NO, YOU DONT HAVE TO CALL ME DARLIN, DARLIN
YOU NEVER EVEN CALL ME
WELL I WONDER WHY YOU DONT CALL ME
WHY DONT YOU EVER CALL ME BY MY NAME

Just be ready to immediately scroll down when you open Freerepublic, or maybe you could find something really important to worry about like world peace or the chaos an Obama presidency would cause.

I am sorry that you do not value the quality product that JimRob and his associates have provided for us. Do you support Free Republic financially, or do you just expect it to always be here = and in your favorite configuration?

What I don't understand is (I use the Latest Articles page) that you have to scroll down anyway, if you're looking to see what's recently been posted.

I am glad everytime I see the video link.
Any member of the media or the Obama people who come to this site have to look at it. And it will tick them off.
It is brilliant!

Actually you’ve been here since 97 and probably remember the good ole days off “bold off, bold off, bold off”. lol What fun there was when someone forgot to close a tag. ;)

I am also getting sick of seeing despicable Bill Ayers’ face every time I browse to FR. Good ad. But once you’ve seen it, you’ve seen it.

Why do I have to be a technical geek in order to appreciate or use FR? And although it's none of your business, I have supported FR financially in the past, did so for several years. But even if I'd never given a dime to Fr, it doesn't mean I have to tolerate condescending individuals.

I think the placement of the video is effective at getting a message out to anyone who happens by the site.
Even more effective, and perhaps not as bothersome to some- would be a random rotation of videos so that each time the page is refreshed a different video appears. That would provide more exposure for other anti-obama videos and we would not always have to look at ayers’ ugly mug.

I spend a lot of time here. This is forum where I receive a lot of news, and the creative (and not so creative) input of other like-minded (and not so like-minded) people.
It's a marketplace of ideas, and it's great fun and often a challenge, but always a privilege to be a part of it with all of you.
I hope it stays truly FRee.
