Four years ago in November, I was wearing a cotton skirt and short-sleeve blouse to work at the polls all day. Maybe it will be nice this year. The lines should be shorter at my poll, the elementary school. In ‘04, they hadn’t planned for all the people from the new subdivisions that were built after 2000.
I get quite cold here, so I’m always looking for something warm. I’ve knitted a “bomber jacket” for my trip to Little Rock (providing I get to go) but I have yet to put it together. I suspect it will be quite warm for me, if I can find a suitable lining for it.
The winds are always cold. The way the mountains run here, most winds in the winter come from the north, then blow around the valley for a week before moving on. One winter, we had a wind chill of 10 degrees.
*Brrrrr*
