Hmm.. wondering forest, confuses you with it’s thoughts.
And a dog wonders about lots of things, mostly all at the same time.
That’s why they shake all over while wagging their tails and drooling.
Kids.. I’m not even certain.
But a wandering forest, now there’s trouble.

Worse than that! I used to live in the Santa Cruz mountains -- full of redwood groves. Now redwoods have extensive root systems but they're shallow. Grow them on hillsides that are clay and sandstone and you have a recipe for disaster when it rains hard. One especially bad winter my little narrow back road through the mountains to work was blocked by a grove of about a dozen redwoods that had slid down the hill. They were all perfectly upright, but completely covered the road.
I wish I'd thought to take a picture...
