Hello? Is everyone waiting in line for gas, or sleeping in with Charles de Gaulle.
It rained on us at the parade, but oh well. There was some people out anyway. Pat was very excited about being in his first parade. The Cub Scouts got to ride on a flatbed trailer, but the Girl Scouts had to walk. My foot hurts! Now I have to drive Bill and Tom over to the park to work at the fair that’s going on today. And I need to get some bell peppers to make the Chickpea Dish later.
Maybe I’ll find gas without waiting in line (ha ha!).
Whoa.
That’s scary. I spend the night with a friend and come home to find the REAL UT in place of the one I left.
*mumble-mumble-mumble*
I think it might have rained because of the return to April thread, April showers.
It kinda odd with the gas supplies. Ca prices are still dropping. I paid 3.55 last tank I have seen prices in the 3.30-3.40 range but not near me.
Off at parish retreat today. A bit overcast at first but it cleared up to a perfect day overlooking Puget Sound -- sit/stand in the sun and you're quickly overheating, move to the shade and you're almost shivering. (Well, that's me...) May have a picture or two tomorrow.
But I've been running so hard it was difficult to slow down -- I was (I estimated) 5 minutes from finishing a powerpoint for a conference three weeks hence when I HAD to leave for the retreat. (Took me two hours upon return home to really finish and ship it; tomorrow the family will be subjected to a trial run.)
