I own a mod. 34 four inch revolver and its a good shooter. I didn’t think the 34 was considered a kit gun...

most fun i've had with a rimfire, .32 short flobert.

thing shoots a bullet so slow you could almost catch it barehanded. however it'll knock a squirrel right out of a tree. won't break the skin, but it'll hit the ground dead.

my favourite .22lr:

norinco jw 15. paid right around $100 for it, thing groups better than any other .22 i've ever shot.

The 10/22 is everybodys favorite. The 10/22 with a silencer is king.

Remington Nylon 66

Colt Mark II, .22 lr

Ruger Single 6, Old Model, unmodified, .22 lr and .22 WMR interchangeable

2 barrels for my T/C Contender, .22 lr and .22 WMR

I want a 10/22 so I can hang up my Nylon 66. It’s getting to be a collectors item...

The original designation was the 22/32 Kit Gun. 22 lr on the 32 caliber frame. Or the J frame as it is now designated. It evolved into the Model 34 Kit Gun and was made in either square or round butt with 2 inch and 4 inch variations. They are just a whole lot of fun to shoot.

Rimfires? Man I just love .22's.

You can shoot 'em all day for 10 bucks.

Partial list:

Ruger 10-22.

Hi-Standard Sentinel 9 shot revolver.

Remington Model 12.

Lurker Jr: Henry Youth.

There's nothing like a .22 to teach the basics of shooting.

Great thread idea Pistolshot!

I loved my marlin model 60.

with the 18 round semi-auto, people thought I was shooting a machine gun. LMBO!

Shooting the cheap spray paint cans from the cheapie leftovers store was sure fun as a kid.

When I think of kit gun, I think of model 17, K-22. I note Fjestad designates the 34 as the kit gun and not the 17 so you must be correct.

The only rimfire we have is the wife's Ruger 10/22 plinker. Lot's of fun considering the relatively low cost of .22LR ammo.
