I tried to watch the Olympics but am I the only one that is sick of Beach Volleyball? This makes four nights now that they have shown the same women's duo and I know more about them than all other athletes (except Phelps). I give up and I guess politics is not the only thing NBC can ruin.
I don’t mind the beach volleyball so much, although I agree that the coverage has been excessive, but for the love of God- can we get some live track and field events?? What is the deal with tape delaying everything 12 hours?
After that freakshow I was very ready to see some cute American volleyball girls in bikinis kicking butt on the beach.
Don’t think I said anything personal did I? If I did about you I take it back. Generically speaking, my point is its a free country and change the damn channel if you don’t care for the show (maybe even turn it off and read a book, or play a sport).

I like the women's beach volleyball. But hey that's just me. I suspect that since NBC shows beach volleyball during their regular season tht might be why they're showing more of it.

I believe I read somewhere that the India beach volleyball was going to wear more modest uniforms.
I'm a huge professional boxing fan, but amateur boxing is almost as lame as synchronized swimming. A light jab counts exactly the same as a knockdown on the judges scorecards -- quantity over quality. And political decisions rule the day.
Olympic basketball is another story. I've quite enjoyed watching "The Redeem Team" annihilate the competition.
The boxing is on CNBC every night usually from 5-8PM.
Yep, again. Her routine was clearly superior and she ended up losing the tiebreaker. ....to a Chinese (underage) girl, not surprisingly.

Not only have I watched beach volleyball but I’ve watched rowing, boxing, diving, gymnastics, fencing, softball, baseball, basketball, regular volleyball, a game I don’t know the name of, track and field, table tennis, badminton, tennis, wrestling is on tonight, and that Phelps guy.
Yes, I saw that. I think they should have computers and cameras do the judging. Sometimes I just think the judges do some PC-thing and want to be "fair" to everyone. Yuck.

last Olympics I faithfully watched from beginning to end were the 1984 Olympics.
The sooner the Olympics rid itself of ''judgment'' sports, the sooner a lot of utterly incompetent ''judges'' will be unemployed, and the sooner the Games will become enjoyable again.
I trust everyone here has noted carefully that, absent the ''judgment'' sports (gymnastics, diving, trampoline, et al.), the ChiComs would be sucking wind, bigtime.
