I remember the early 70's when the phrase AC/DC meant "bi", and I always thought the band was appealing to the glam rock crowd.

I personally was disappointed with Metallica already by their second album - the only track I really enjoyed upon hearing it for the first time was Trapped Under Ice) You're nuts - "Fade to Black" is one of the greatest metal songs ever.
