I have 23 tomato plants that have just taken over about 500 square feet, and killed out the weeds (which is good, because I didn't weed much this year). I'm still getting tomatoes, so I'll let it go until fall.

And it's really muddy out there still.

WELLLLLL, I told you my pepper plants were spreading their leaves to get the rain? Our yard man pulled them up with my tomato plant and Roomey’s okra. They were all dried up, according to Roomey...So what can I say, I wasn’t there. The peppers were spreading their little leaves, but Roomey told our man to take them all out, so out they went. I’m going to Waco/Lowes and pick up some seed for the winter garden and see if I can find some plants for tomatoes etc. Hopefully there are some garden stores that carry some of my “uprooted” peppers, the tomatoes?, didn’t do all that well, and hopefully I can find some mixed salad seeds. I know the collards, carrots and Engish peas will do well. I’m counting on it. Roomey is getting ready to put another “raised garden”. It will have a frame, and in the middle will be a fish pond with holes drilled in it. Then I can plant what I want. (hopefully).
