Well well, look what I missed when I was out playing 9 holes of golf. (Bizarre course, every single hole was blind, you couldn't see the flag from the tee box ever.)

So, it's perhaps the Clinton machine trying to unseat Ding Dong before the convention. OR, it's Ding Dong trying to get out in front of the birth certificate/ eligibility issue in order to make it smaller at convention time.

Either explanation sounds plausible to me. In addition there's this:

The one article says Ding Dong's vetting team was Eric Holder and Caroline Kennedy.
