Wow...I mean, I’ve burned some bridges and all, but I hope no one rememebers me like that.
A side note about my mother (and her request). There were a lot of times I needed her, and she wasn’t around, but the time she took us away from an abusive father makes up for all the f***-ups she ever had.
(Note, I’m not feeling sorry for myself, but my mother was a high school drop-out, with 5 (ages 8-16) kids, that left an abusive husband back in 1968. She might not have done right all the time, but she had bigger guts than a lot of folks.)
