I saw that part just last Christmas, Linus reading from the Bible, but I seem to remember it wasn't on CBS...

Ted Turner bought all of the CBS Christmas special for awhile I thought and only showed them on TBS or whatever but I thought they’d also gone back to a CBS broadcast.

And the repeated reruns of these programs in the season schedules kills that whole shared experiece where everyone saw the same thing at the same time. Used to be if you missed that 30 minutes of tv- you didn’t get to see it for another year and all the kids would talk about the show the next day.

“Did you see it? I’ve got it rented from netflix. No, but I will. yada yada yada.
