Holster is Uncle Mikes Sidekick
If anyone reading this is a member of the Illinois Bar, there was a very good article in their current Journal on the 2nd amendment. Specifically how Heller will impact the most handgun unfriendly (their words) state in the nation, Illinois, and predicting that one of our cities will be the next to reach the Supremes, probably Chicago. Very long, but good reference. But you need a membership number to access the online version.
Funny, that's what Harley snobs say about people who ride Gold Wings.
In my briefcase is a 9mm Beretta which is light. It is not as powerful as my 19ll, but it doesn't cause my briefcase to sag like it has a bowling ball in it. The 9 also kills just as dead as the .45.
Or, I may, or may not be carrying a Charter Arms Off-Duty .38 Special snubby in a pocket holster. Ya just never know.
The second amendment foundation has already filed suit on chicago based on the Heller case
I love my BT380. Takes a bit to break it in, but once it is, it’s a great little gun. Paired with a Desantis IWB and an untucked shirt, you can’t even tell it’s there.
I have permission from my employer to pack on company property (I am a former LEO)provided it remains concealed, but it is generally against company policy. We have some folks around here that are pretty squeamish, and if they saw it they would make a scene, and I would most likely loose my special dispensation.
P90 Ruger serial # 3207 with a P95 trigger in a Kirkpatrick Texas cross draw.
What I have on my hip as I type. XD-45 Compact. It rides in a Crossbreed IWB 'Supertuck' holster that is the most comfortable holster I've even worn.
No kidding... they've taken snagless to a new and obsessive level. No sights, just a groove down the top of the slide (which is surprisingly easy and fast to acquire).
Only 23oz without the magazine (7rnd).
Very easy to carry. Light and comfortable whether in a holster or in a pocket. And hey... it's still a .45.
Ruger SP101 with .38 +P’s. In the office closet is a sawed-off (legal) double barrel with 00 Buck.
There’s also another of our staff with some sort of Smith .38 Special and another with a Springfield Armory Mil-spec .45ACP.
We actually encourage our people to pack.
An armed society is a polite society.

Come back when you can’t get all your guns in one picture.

Here in the Peoples Republik of IL, it's the best I can do without running afoul of the law.

Openly.
Actually, I usually keep my shirt pulled over it. Prints like hell, but it's very comfortable and the only comment I ever heard was from a police officer who said something to his buddy about it when I walked right past them on my way out of a store. In an OWB holster, it's also very easy to go to open carry if there's a reason to do so.
I live in hot humid and ever muggy South Florida, specifically Miami. In the past I would have agreed with that staement. But that was before I found the Super Tuck Deluxe holster by CROSSBREED. Now I can and do carry a full sized Sig P226R (Blackwater Edition) OR my H&K P30 9mm in utter and total comfort as well as totally concealed under just a tuck in oxford shirt or a Polo type shirt. You can bend, twist or do the "gator" in this rig and you'll stay concealed with no discernable "print" to the world that you're in carry mode.
I have even come home from a night out to dinner and a movie with my wife and gone to sleep in my LAZ-E-BOY "Dad's chair" still wearing the weapon! It's that comfortable. Can't beat the price at around $65 nor can you beat the offer of trying it for two weeks or your money back in full. But remember something that Clint Smith of Thunder Ranch once said: Wearing a handgun for defense issues is supposed to be comforting, not necessarily comfortable. On those ultra hot days I used to stick a S&W M642 hammerless 38 into my front pocket in a Mika pocket holster and let it go at that. But times are more contentious now with multiple threats to life and limb, so I figure serious guns for serious times...When it comes to my family, I'd rather be "comforted" than "comfortable."
That’s my daily carry too. Mine’s great; how do you like yours?
