What are you packing today? Let's see them.
Today, I am carrying a Kahr PM9 in 9mm in a Galco Summer Special with a 6 round reload.

This set up is light, wholly concealable and easy to wear all day. The caliber is more than adequate for defensive purposes. Using the 124 gr Hyda-Shoks it is accurate and reliable.

Nice rig - but down here in Hotlanta is tough to conceal.
Usually carry my baby Glock in an imitation daytimer.
Baby Glock is nice, but looking forward to some of the newly released (but not yet in the store) super small 9’s.
Any comments from down-south members how they carry in the heat?
thanks

Are you referring to the mainspring pin that rides inside the grip panels? The only thing I struggle with during reassembly is keeping the transfer bar aligned in its slot.
I’ve lost a couple of those mainspring pins, and now just use a paperclip.

Springfield Armory XD-45 Service Model. Can only carry it at home though; still waiting on my CCW permit to arrive. :(

S&W 642 w/ Hogue Monogrip in a Fobus paddle holster (summer rig). Bersa Thunder 9 Ultra Compact in a Houston paddle holster or ACE belly band (winter rig). Below is a pic of the Bersa, but I don't have a pic of the Smith with me.

The Scandiums, while expensive, are really great for pocket carry, but recoil is not for the weak-hearted.
We had a Scadium in 45LC in the shop. Even though the 45LC is a pussycat cartridge in other firearms, in that light frame it was pretty brutal.

Is your office in a public school building? Seriously, what’s the problem?

I think the Bersa is one of the most underrated weapons out there. It doesn’t have the ‘flair’ of a PPK, but the darn things just work.

Nope.
There’s a pivot pin that holds the entire trigger assembly together. Mine wants to slide out just as I’m locking the lower part of the gun into the frame.
One time the pin slid out just before it locked into the frame. When I reopened it I had a sandwich bag of parts and a trip to the gunsmith.
That’s the only thing I don’t like about that Ruger; I shot many an IDPA match with it.

Concealing in hot weather is going to require wardrobe compromises unless you're willing to pocket-carry a sub-compact.
I generally go with a leather IWB holster on top of a tucked-in tee-shirt with an untucked Hawaiian or camp shirt as a cover. If it's really miserable, I'll lose the cover shirt, untuck the tee, and put a hankie between me and the gunleather.
I'm 6', 170lbs and (to my knowledge)haven't been "made" yet.

I have a S&W model 13 in 3-inch("FBI gun") that has probably the sweetest factory action that I have had or done myself.
Ohhhhhh. I so envy you.
Almost aquired one 3 or 4 years ago, trade from a buddy. 3", round butt, handled very well, good trigger. Turned out to have a sprung yoke. :-(.
I still grieve.
As to the original question, there's a Taurus 605 somewhere hereabouts.

I agree. Bersa offers tremendous band-for-buck value. (They also generate hysterical comments for the gun snobs) The Bersa Thunder .380 runs almost half of what the Walther PPK does ($250 vs $450) and is at least equal in quality and reliability, IMO.

"The closest I ever came to cross dressing was carrying a 9mm.LOL. I tend to prefer .45 (Colt or ACP) but there's no question that since the popularity of the 9x19 zoomed back in the 80's, that cartridge has improved exponentially. Modern Hydra-Shok's and Gold Dots would definately leave a welt. The only thing that really bothers me about the 9mm isn't the round, but the way high-cap 9mm's seem to foster undisciplined shooting.
All said, most of the time my CCW piece is a J-frame S&W.

Since my employer prefers that I not carry within the building because it frightens the wimps, I have one of these in the trunk of my car, which is conveniently parked 15 feet from the door to my office.

First round is bird shot, then alternating buck and slugs.
