I don’t like the sound of this, Doug.

However, I still feel in my bones that God is going to keep her out of the Whitehouse.

Prayers are still in order, imho, however.

Nothing gets in between the Clinton’s and power.

And Obama just happened to be in the way....

I guess it's a prime example of convoluted reasoning, but I think if McCain doesn't win in November I would prefer Clinton in office to Obama in office. She is more or less a known hazard, with him there's still no telling how deep the problems go or what havoc he could wreak in the oval office.

I derive some consolation from remembering that despite how bad it looked at the time God has always come to the aid of our great country. Remember the words of the great old hymn “This is My Father's World.”

“This is my father's world,
And let ne’er forget,
That tho’ the wrong seems oft so strong,
God is the ruler yet.”

Amen!

The Bible makes it quite clear that times will not get better as the end approaches. In fact, quite the opposite. Some of the most fearful language is reserved for describing the end times. But that language is not meant to scare God's people, but rather to assure them that as bad as it's going to be, the Lord is our refuge and strength and promises to see us through it all. I liken it to the doctor telling a patient that a treatment is going to be rough, but to keep in mind that when it's completed the results will be so good that the patient won't even remember the rough times.

Obama has already done something I never thought could be accomplished. At one point not long ago I felt I could not stomach any more of Hillary. Turns out, by comparison she's preferable to Obama. Pretty scary, huh?
