Rielle Hunter, the woman at the heart of the John Edwards scandal, was born in Fort Lauderdale and attended college in Tampa. But it was from the cocaine-fueled New York City social scene of the 1980s that she emerged as the literary model for the ultimate party girl.

The ENQUIRER has now confirmed not only that Rielle is expecting, but that she's gone into hiding with the help of a former aide to Edwards. The visibly pregnant blonde has relocated from the New York area to Chapel Hill, N.C., where she is living in an upscale gated community near political operative Andrew Young, who's been extremely close to Edwards for years and was a key official in his presidential campaign.
And in a bizarre twist, Young — a 41-year-old married man with young children — now claims HE is the father of Rielle's baby! But others are skeptical, wondering if Young's paternity claim is a cover-up to protect Edwards.
Meanwhile, Edwards' cancer-stricken wife Elizabeth has joined him on the campaign trail.
In a statement issued to The ENQUIRER through her attorney, Rielle said: "The fact that I am expecting a child is my personal and private business. This has no relationship to nor does it involve John Edwards in any way. Andrew Young is the father of my unborn child."

Mary “Mimi” Hockman, who lives in South Orange, partnered with Rielle Hunter on Midline Groove Productions, the video production company that had a $100,000-plus contract to produce a series of videos for the Edwards campaign in 2006.
She emerged from the home about 20 minutes later, saying she was “going to get Chinese food” and could not comment further.
“I’m contractually prohibited from talking to you,” Hockman said, before driving away in a Toyota SUV.
Public records show that Hunter, who began receiving payments for the campaign videos in July 2006, registered to vote at the Redmond Road address in October 2006. At the time, Hunter told a reporter for Newsweek she was “living with a friend in South Orange, N.J.,” according to a story published on the magazine’s website.
Maybe Edwards is one of those guys that was married at a young age and never had much "diversity" when it came to women. Or, he is a whore dog and has been banging dirty legs like this one for years. Likely the latter...

Were it not for the fact that she had been around the campaign until late 2007, I might believe that the meeting was only to secure a final deal to keep her out of the way so Edwards could be Obama’s VP.

Maybe not. He could have gotten a disease from her. I mean we know he didn’t use a condom, there’s a baby there.
As recent events have shown, he can’t “get away with this”, but the lesson he (erroneously) learned is that he can.
