'"The Americans? We're going to smash them [ in the 4x100]. That's what we came here for," [Alain] Bernard [of the French team] said.'

This is the French swimming team and their actions under discussion. And yes, I have watched the rugby team. I played rugby for a couple of years in college...interesting sport.
