When the young boy said "Thank you very much, dumb Costas says: "The kid speaks a little English." More than likely, he speaks English a whole lot better than you do Bob. Did I forget to mention how much I miss Jim McKay?

Whoa, what would happen if this dude drops the torch? How embarrassing would that be? LOL!!!
I guess he'd have to hang there like a rag doll until somebody in a Chinese cherry-picker lifted the torch to him :)

Still makes me cringe about that so-called mascot they came up with for the Atlanta games.Let us not speak of it.

I’m liking the fact that they were bold enough to choose a Sasquatch.

I am so glad everyone came out and hope everyone had a good time. I’d pass out cookies and party favors to everyone if I could. ;-)

Why do I have this nagging feeling that in past Olympics only athletes were allowed to touch the Olympic flag. I seem to recall that there was some big stink made about this. Maybe it was in Atlanta.
To: mass55th
For the Olympics or just in general? I was thinking of doing a DNC thread, but if I don’t do that, I’m sure someone else will.
