LOL!! I guess I can give the guys a little something, too.

Canada's Priscilla Lopes-Schliep jumps a hurdle during a training session for the Canadian Olympic athletics squad in Singapore August 6, 2008.

I'm gonna do it tomorrow night.

Too caught up in opening ceremonies. Not a multitasker, here. :)

Found some great Olympic moments on youtube, though.

Ick, I don’t like the Spanish uniforms. Looks like they’re a delegation from McDonalds....

Allow me to call you a waaaaambulance.

We all hate the Chicom government. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t support our athletes and give credit where credit is due. Do you pretend Sputnik and Gagarin never existed because they were launched by commies?

Where in heck do they put up so many athletes for their rooms? That must be a hoot of a place.

I heard the announcers say there are 1.3 billion. With that kind of dedicated work force, they can pretty much accomplish anything they put their minds to.

Based on the opening ceramony I think we should just concede and surrender now ...

LOL! It was a break during practice. Here is the actual caption: Spain’s Rafael Nadal takes a break during a tennis practice session ahead of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games August 5, 2008

Nah... they may out number us 4 to 1, but we’d still give them a run for their yuan.

Iraqi Olympic athletes Dana Abdulrazak, left, and Haider Jabreen answer questions during an interview inside the Olympic Village Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008 in Beijing. Abdulrazak, a sprinter, and Jabreen, who throws the discus, are the only two Iraqis representing their country in the Beijing Olympics

You’re responding to the wrong poster. I agree wholeheartedly and was telling FReeper who posted tieneman (sp?) sq picture to let it go.

Yeah, I’ve always though it was kind of funny that they call it the Olympic Village when it’s got to be the size of a large town or small city!

Iraq got cheers. For Iran it almost sounded like booing, which is unusual for Chinese to do. They’re usually very polite.
