Ah, dunno if I’ll put much into watching these...having seen the first 15 minutes of commercials...nothing but fluff. It’s taped so they’ll just shove the ads down our throats...might try to find some good web feeds...

I’m not sure where you get that idea. I did include a picture of monks protesting in the very first post and 2 other protesters further down the thread.
Freepers are generally smarter then the average bear and KNOW that communist China is not a Utopia by any stretch of the imagination.
This thread is to celebrate our athletes and hopefully the kick some major commie behind over the next two weeks. NOT to argue about China.

Brokaw forgot to mention that the Chinese govt. has placed every taxi in the city with GPS-microphone systems to record every conversation..... or of how many families were displaced and are now homeless in order for the country to build that ugly-a$$ stadium..... oh well, it must’ve just slipped his mind.....

Olympics=Blah. We must stop Russia from intervening in Georgia, or else the Chinese will use it as a pretext for invading Taiwan (Which I think is the reason for the heavy handed travel/shipment restrictions in China).

If you just want to see the USA team march into the stadium I would guess its around the 10:30 to 11:00 range Eastern time. W and Laura are there to greet them.
