Is anybody here reading this series? Never heard of it (or the author) myself. I just think it's funny to see people so up-in-arms they're hoping that returning their copies to a bookstore will take money away from her. I mean, you have to be pretty angry to wish that on an author..lol

My daughter checked the first book out of the library, but she thought it was boring and said the author is a dingbat.

Is that Ms. Meyer? She seems to be pregnant.

Once someone has read a book, returning it for a is dishonest.

Just my opinion of course.

My little sister loved the first three books - I read them, and nothing special. The main character (and most of the other characters) seem incapable of forming healthy relationships, the writing is mediocre, the pacing is horribly slow, etc, etc. After reading all three books, I honestly thought the series was over, and I have no desire at all to read Breaking Dawn. Although, some of the events do directly break the rules Stephenie Meyer created for her vampires... and, from what I’ve heard of the plot and ending, the plot seems like bad fanfiction and the ending is a complete cop-out.

To be perfectly honest, being a grown adult myself with no children, I’ve read all 4 books. I’ve found them fairly good. I liked them. They’re those kind of books that you read when you want to get out of the real world for a while and not have to focus on the stresses around you. Granted I wouldn’t say that children under the age of 13 should read this 4th and final book for the “sex” scenes, I believe that the book is fine enough not to put such thoughts in the child’s head. It does have morals enough to teach you not to have sex or marry at such a young age. The book is purely fantasy fiction. There are no such things as vampires nor werewolves. Why anyone would spend the time to complain and return a book because THEY didn’t like it, give it to someone else who might. That’s just my opinion, make whatever you want out of it.
