You are mistaken - he talked a big game...
I love it when people scream about how this place is run and how they hate Jim or the Mods - get banned and/or leave in a huff....then return with a new name/identity and pretend to be new. It happens all the time.
Why?
Forget I asked, “Why?”
Never mind...(in my best Lilly Tomlin imitation).
not since 8-31-2006 unless zombied.
I never knew that.
I got into a series pissing contest with him years ago when he ran a thread by an Arkansas lefty historian equating my Confederate ancestors as Nazis....
that sort of thing always galls me on a conservative site.
but that hardly sounds like Matt Drudge....Safire?...maybe
Wasn't that Gilda Radner?
Oh dear...you’re so right...I’m really off my mark today.
I remember a lot of rabies stories too from Ambrose.
I used to have that as my tagline, I’d forgotten it!
Hey TEX, I’m still here, and so are you. Nice to “see” ya.
After reading this thread, I’m checking to see if *I* am real! (pinching arm) OUCH!!! yup, I’m real.
I never thought of pretending to be someone else, it seems like a lot of work and trouble to me. I’ve met 7 people from FR, so I know they are real, and they know I am too. I’ve worked for another, so I know she’s real.
I haven’t actually met Froufrou, but boy is she ever real!
There was a young man on here, can’t remember his username, his wife left him and his two little boys for some net stud in Norway, I wish I knew if he was ok.
I used to correspond with a good friend on here, he’s right here on this thread. We were friends, talked most days, then he just POOF! stopped responding, stopped writing. Won’t answer. I still can’t quite get used to people doing that on the net, although of course it happens.
I still miss talking to him though. Every 4 or 5 months I ping or post to him, he never even responds. I always wonder if I did something that offended him.
Nice to see you as well -
“I survived the Rudy/TerriSchiavo/ElianGonzales threads on FR t-shirst”
ahhhh yes! The Terri threads.
We definitely need t-shirts.
