Just days before she is expected to give birth to her second child, heavily pregnant Gwen Stefani has been doing some last-minute shopping.
The No Doubt singer, 38, and husband Gavin Rossdale, 42, enjoyed an afternoon shopping in Los Angeles with their two-year-old son Kingston.

-snip-
Last summer, The Sweet Escape singer spoke of her wish for a brother or sister for her son Kingston and how much she enjoyed the pregnancy process.
She said: 'Obviously I'm in a race to have another, but I don't want to do it while on tour.

'But I can't wait to get pregnant again. It's so fun and consuming and romantic.'
Since giving birth to Kingston in a Los Angeles hospital in May 2006, Gwen has been inseparable from her adorable toddler.
She enthused: 'I definitely don't get enough sleep, but I'd rather spend time with him. I've got this extra-fun, amazing, little guy who just wants to hang out with me.
'I love him so much. He's the best thing that has ever happened to me.'

Yeah, she's pretty big. I'm sure she'll lose it quick, though, she did last time.

I don't know. She has two different fashion companies, she should design herself some comfier maternity-wear. She wore looser-fitting stuff last time she was preggers.

One thing I always liked about her is that she never got all tattooed and pierced like so many other idiot celebs. She also never got a boob job. She looks just fine the way she is. I mean she doesn't even sport a pierced belly button. How cool is that.

And she's happily married to the father of her children.
I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that she didn't make it big and get really famous until she was in her mid twenties. She, her brother Eric (who played keyboards but left the band to be an animator for The Simpsons), and John Spence formed the band in 1986 (the original name was Apple Core). All three of them worked at Dairy Queen and Gwen was 17 at the time. Spence killed himself later on and Gwen took over as lead singer. Their first album came out in '92 when she was 23, but it didn't sell well. She was 26 when Tragic Kingdom came out in '95, and that was when they made it big.
Britney and Lindsay and the rest of the pop-tarts made it big at an early age and didn't know how to handle the fame and success.

I know, see #36 for a possible explanation. And be sure to see the vid linked in #25, where they do a nice cover of some hardcore London punk instead of their usual more mellow ska-influenced stuff.
I can't wait for the new album next year, I've been hoping No Doubt would get back together since they broke up.
