Just yesterday I stepped outside to water some plants and my Saint Bernard ran past me on the walkway and was barking like crazy. Just across the street in my neighbor’s yard was a black bear that looked to be about 200lbs. It was actually cinnamon colored. The bear ran away slowly, going right across my neighbors back porch. Bears are pretty common here in the mountains of Colorado, right next to Roosevelt National Forest. I have a CCW permit and had a .40 cal in a front pocket holster. I would have rather had my 10mm or 44 mag at that moment!

Here is my 10mm, a Fusion Firearms 6-inch longslide. It was built by Bob Serva, the former president of Dan Wesson Firearms. I carry it in winter time in a vertical rigged shoulder holster. The target was shot at 50ft and I think it was 2 8-round mags.
