I can understand the sheep. It must be nice to live your life and never know what it’s like to be in a fight, to be robbed or to have any act of violence happen around you.
What I don’t understand is when the sheep do find out exactly what our world can be like in it’s terror and horror and they still don’t see the connection in trying to save themselves by learning to fight back.
The only thing I can figure out is they don’t want to dedicate the time, money and effort in learning how to fight back. Either that or they just don’t want to think about it.
I have seen to many people in this perpetual state of denial. Evil can't won't happen here, now, to them, or any member of their family.
But when it does that have one of two reactions, instant catatonia, or wailing and gnashing of teeth that the government didn't do more to protect them. But they almost never will seek to attain the skills to defend themselves.
