Kinda leaves out those of us who believe The American Citizen is "authorized" to be armed, in church, school, commercial aircraft, anywhere, by the providential circumstance of his birth.

A lot of "sheepdogs" out there would have a problem with that. Many natural "sheepdogs" among us are seen as "sheep" by the Official "sheepdogs", and if the "sheep" dare to arm themselves, they are seen as "wolves".

IMHO, if the People were properly permitted to arm themselves and carry on as Free Citizens, the Official "sheepdogs" would be needed only as cleanup crew.

I 'live' amongst sheep, have a set of defensive weapons [including the hard head behind the horns] and will dutifully protect the flock against all comers...including 'rabid' sheepdogs...

although the general premise of the article was individualism, it all depends on who the master/trainer of the sheepdog really is...
