I think we're mostly ready, too. even found an a/c window unit today at Lowe's for $138. Our son who just got back from Boy Scout Summer Camp at Possum Kingdom Lake in North Texas (where it was 106 degrees nearly every day) called me and his dad "wimps" for needing a/c. Looks like the Boy Scouts are doing just what I wanted them to do. :)

My one concern is what happens if/when the power goes out and my stepson and his family--including 3 little indians--need to come over! It will be pandemonium! lol!

Ooh! I don't have a window AC. What's your address in case I need to come over? Hopefully we won't lose power (fingers crossed). I need to add a window unit on my list for next time though. I remember Alicia ... it wasn't pleasant.
