I think the video was funny, and he HAD told her not to play with the gun, and she didn’t pay attention. Such inattention to gun information and teaching leads to way too many accidents every year!
At least she will have a mental reminder that guns are not toys and aiming one and playing with things like hammers and safeties and triggers could just as easily have made a ‘bang’ noise too, but perhaps with a far more sadder result then a need to change her shorts!
I often teach young shooters, and many of them young women, and you’d be surprised how many of them treat a gun loaded or empty like a cap pistol in spite of the training! while the gal gets a right fright, she will never play with a gun again and that in the long run may make her a better shooter and a safer one.
It is funny true, and there was a lesson learned there I am sure.
My comment about the guy being rotten was an off the cuff remark have been on the receiving line of fireworks jokes, knee jerk reaction.
Guns are not toys, they need to be handled with respect. I know this much.
