That’s a really nice looking pistol and I have a deep hatred for the Kimber melted look. They might as well found an old war relic and sandblasted it.

That Springfield on my profile page had about three hours of deburring to it. There’s a big difference between knocking off a sharp edge and radiusing a machined corner.

I've been carrying a Ruger SP101 357 in a Galco deep cover holster for the last month or so. I like the pistol, but I've considered having it "melted" and having the hammer bobbed to make it more comfortable to carry. The holster protects me from most of the sharp edges, but once in a while I'll squat or turn just right and get the hammer spur right in the love handle.

Another down side is that I carry a couple of speedloaders and they're harder to conceal than the pistol. I need to find a good IWB holster for the Sig and put the Ruger back in the bedside table.
