That does look like a nice piece. Ambidextrous everything would be great for me seeing how I'm a lefty.
We're very satisfied with it! I'm wishing I could have ambi safeties on my Series 80 now. We practice "least dominant hand" drills and I like the ambi safeties. They're also long and relatively easy to release.
I was trying to convince my neighbor to buy the same Taurus the other day, and we went to the website and I didn't know that the MSRP was $827.00. I bought it through a gunsmith buddy of mine and he saved us "about" $200.00. My brother bought a Kimber recently and I think he paid "about" $800.00 for it. I've spent time with my brother's Kimber, my Colt Series 80, and this new Taurus. All in all, I like the Taurus over the Colt and the Kimber. I'm trying to scheme up a way to get me one now. :-) Even though I paid for most of it, the pistol belongs to one of my sons. I "owed" him money, so it all worked out. :-)

Ed Brown has the best ambi safeties that I know of. I’m very disappointed in some of the ones I had already installed.
