I agree. You know, I said several times, early on, on different threads on FR that I would NEVER vote for McCain. But, when I realized how truly horrifying it would be if Obama were to get elected, I had to go back and rethink this whole thing. I finally came to the conclusion that, because I care so much for our men and women in uniform serving this country, I cannot do anything that might help Obama become their Commander in Chief - therefore, I will have to vote for McCain. I'm not happy about it but, it is what it is.

I was in shock ..depression..after the primaries were over and then I considered the alternative,too..McCain has my vote...and he is managing to make me feel better and better about it.

I know that's true for me too Mama_Bear. I'd feel better if McCain picks an acceptable running mate, but I'm not holding my breath.
